St Runious, Marown Old
Church.
Originally dating from
around 1200 AD, extended in 1754, replaced by the new church down in the
valley but restored
by volunteers in 1959
and used for occasional services. The church has no electricity and
if required is lit by candles.
    
St Trinian's
This chapel was built
around the 14th century AD on the site of an older chapel. There
seems to have been some problems with keeping the roof on which were blamed
on a local Buggane and eventually it was abandoned. The
Buggane of St Trinian's.
